A little about me
For more than 30 years I've helped organisations improve the way they work.
My career has spanned healthcare, financial services, engineering, manufacturing, retail, education and government. I've worked across business systems, reporting and analytics, implementation, operational improvement, enterprise technology and product development.
Although my background is technical, technology has never been the objective. My real strength is understanding the problem, organising complexity and finding a solution that is useful, sustainable and easy for people to work with.
I work particularly well where someone needs to take ownership, learn quickly, communicate clearly and turn a complicated situation into something more manageable.

The technology is interesting, but the more important story is the approach: understand the problem, build something useful, test it, learn and improve it.
How I work
Good solutions start with understanding people, objectives and the problem that genuinely needs solving. Technology comes afterwards.
Modern experience, built on experience
I have worked through several generations of technology and continue to learn new tools and approaches.
More recently, I have integrated AI into my professional workflow for research, analysis, documentation, development, debugging and learning. I see AI as a productivity tool rather than a substitute for professional judgement.
